The Women’s Group is aimed at promoting healthy well-being and provides social activities for Indigenous Women within the Eastern Metropolitan Region. The Women’s Group participate in a range of cultural activities at MMIGP as well as getting out and about together. This is an opportunity to come together, share your stories, express your ideas and connect in a sacred and safe environment – there is a guest speaker monthly! Our Women’s Group provides a culturally safe environment for our women to make meaningful connections and develop their skills and hobbies.
The Indigenous Women’s Yarning circle meets Monday weekly between 10am to 12pm except on Community Lunch day and school holidays.
If you would like to get involved or want more information, please contact our staff Monday-Friday Between 9am-5pm or email Merilyn Duff at health@mmigp.org.au
